Area 3 Turning Radii Improvements

Background

St. Tammany Parish Government is seeking a contractor to improve turning radii on specified roads in Slidell, Louisiana. The project aims to enhance road safety and accessibility, aligning with the Parish's mission to maintain and improve infrastructure for its residents.

Work Details

The contractor must provide all necessary labor, equipment, tools, and materials to improve turning radii along the following roads: - Garden Dr (R09G051) - Liberty Dr (R09G047) - Azalea Ln (R09G052) - Bryan Rd (R09D036) in Slidell, Louisiana. The project must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed by the Parish. The contractor is responsible for all work inferred from specifications or drawings necessary to produce the intended result. A license in Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction is required if the estimated cost is $50k or more.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon the Parish President’s signature and is expected to be completed within sixty (60) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed along specified roads in Slidell, Louisiana.

Bidder Requirements

Contractors must hold a valid license for Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction if the estimated cost of work is $50k or more. A W-9 form must be submitted if the contractor has not previously done business with the Parish. The contractor must also provide an affidavit confirming that all applicable sales taxes for materials used on this project have been paid.
