Background

The City of Holladay is issuing this solicitation for the Village Crosswalk Replacement Project. The project aims to enhance pedestrian safety and accessibility through the replacement of existing crosswalk pavers. Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Traffic control, including road closures with detours provided, notifying local businesses 48-60 hours in advance. 2. Demolition and disposal of existing pavers and sand. 3. Supply and installation of geotextile material. 4. Supply and installation of bedding sand (1/2" to 3/4" thick). 5. Installation of new pavers (supplied by the City). 6. Supply and installation of polymeric sand between paver joints. The pavers to be used are Belgard Holland model, measuring 4" x 8" x 3-1/8", with a herringbone pattern and smooth texture, which will be supplied by the City at their public works shop located at 2200 E Murray Holladay Road.

Period of Performance

The substantial and final completion of the project is required on or before August 30, 2026.
