The goal is to secure catalog discounts for the installation, repair, and replacement of site furnishings, playground equipment, and surfacing.

Work Details

Bidders are requested to provide a minimum fixed percentage discount from their current catalog(s) for site furnishings, playground equipment, and surfacing. The services include installation, repair, and replacement that must meet or exceed Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) Guidelines and ASTM Standards. Specific requirements include: 1. Play equipment must comply with CPSC and ASTM standards; IPEMA Certification is desired but not mandatory. 2. Installation services must adhere to industry standards such as ASTM and National Playground Safety Institute guidelines. 3. Fall zone material must meet ADA accessibility guidelines. 4. Awardees must correct any damages caused during work at no additional cost to the City. 5. Coordination for utility location marking before excavation is required. 6. All work must pass inspection prior to payment approval. 7. Bidders must hold an Occupational or Business License or a Florida DBPR certificate. 8. Catalogs and price sheets for all relevant products must be submitted with the bid.

Period of Performance

The contract will be effective for a two-year period from the award date, with the possibility of three additional one-year renewals by mutual agreement.
