Background This requirement is for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS) Southern Region (SR), Weather Forecast Offices (WFO) at the Morristown (MRX), Nashville (OHX), and Atlanta (FFC) locations. The purpose of this requirement is to supply and install the Eaton 93PM UPS system, with lithium battery backup for 15 minutes, at each of the three WFO locations as well as provide the removal and disposal of the existing UPSs, battery cabinet with batteries, and any associated debris. Work Details The contractor shall provide the appropriate personnel, equipment, supplies, and tools required to replace the UPS batteries and related components at NWS WFO sites at MRX, OHX, and FFC. The following items are to be supplied and installed: - Removal of existing UPS and installation of new UPS at WFO Morristown per attached Performance Work Statement. - Supply and installation of 1 each UPS, battery cabinet with batteries, and Remote Monitoring Device (RMD) at each location. - The UPS systems are past their recommended service life of 7 to 15 years, posing a risk of power outages. Each site will receive a 1:1 replacement.
