The Mesquite Independent School District (MISD) is seeking proposals for the procurement, delivery, and installation of a Walk-In Cooler/Freezer Combo for Cannaday Elementary School. This initiative is part of the Food and Nutrition Services Department's efforts to enhance food storage capabilities. The district reserves the right to award the contract to one or multiple vendors based on the proposals received.
The selected vendor will provide a complete turnkey solution for a walk-in cooler/freezer, which includes: - Furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment required for installation. - Coordinating removal and haul-off of existing equipment. - Scheduling delivery and installation with MISD Kitchen Maintenance. - Providing at least two (2) days advance notice prior to removal and installation. - Ensuring all equipment is installed, tested, and fully operational. - Providing on-site training for staff on proper use and maintenance. All pricing must include delivery, installation, assembly, inspection, and placement into operational condition. This is a turnkey project; no additional costs will be accepted outside of the submitted pricing.
The contract term shall be from June 10, 2026, through June 10, 2027, with an option to renew annually through June 10, 2028.
The work will be performed at Cannaday Elementary School located at 2701 Chisolm Trail Mesquite, TX 75150 and Smith Elementary School located at 2300 Mesquite Valley Rd Mesquite, TX 75149.
Vendors must attend a mandatory site visit scheduled for May 28, 2026. They are required to provide proof of insurance naming MISD as co-insured. Additionally, vendors must submit a credit report and two years of financial records demonstrating financial stability. Proposals must include completed pricing in Ion Wave (Bid Tabulation), a detailed PDF quote that matches Ion Wave submission exactly, company overview and experience, warranty terms for equipment and service, and references from at least three school districts.
