Scope

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) system - All interested vendors, for your bid to be considered submit a quote of your product with descriptions and or item part numbers for evaluation, along with an up-to-date SAMs registration. - All interested vendors who submit a bid to the contact listed in this posting for your bid to be considered. - It is not the responsibility of the Contract Specialist to follow up with what the vendor is missing upon submission. - All interested vendors upon submission of an offer, invoices of at least 2 are required from either private or public institutions of these products. - Refer to the Description/ Specifications/ Statement of work page for product information and salient characteristics of this RFQ for details concerning base access and requirements needed to fulfill solicitation. - Only offers for ALL requirements will be considered. All responses must be received by May. 8th at 10:00 AM eastern standard time. ***This is an all or nothing solicitation, brand name or equal based on salient characteristics. Background The Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA is seeking to procure a Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) system to support their medical mission. The goal of this contract is to provide a TMS system that meets specific technical requirements for therapeutic applications in mental health treatment. This solicitation is open for all interested vendors who can meet the outlined specifications. Work Details The contract requires the delivery of a MagVenture TMS Therapy System, specifically the X100 Mag Option Package. The salient characteristics and technical requirements include: - Ability to deliver 50 Hz triplet bursts at 5 Hz repeatedly without thermal shutdown. - Stable output at 80% AMT / 120% RMT depending on protocol. - Programmable pulse shape and inter-train intervals. - High duty-cycle tolerance for multiple sessions per day (accelerated paradigms). - Active coil cooling to maintain field consistency across hundreds of bursts. - High-current power supply capable of driving H-coil / deep-field coils with sufficient voltage headroom for longer pulse widths and deeper penetration. - Continuous operation without overheating during extended trains and compatibility with specialized coil geometries and targeting frameworks. - Precise timing control for synchronized behavioral or cognitive tasks.
