Battery Powered Tote Mixers

Background

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is seeking to procure six (6) battery-powered paint tote mixers to support their waterborne paint striping operations. This solicitation aims to ensure that UDOT has the necessary equipment to efficiently carry out its mission of maintaining and improving transportation infrastructure in Utah. The contract will be awarded to a single provider based on compliance with the outlined specifications.

Work Details

The contractor is required to provide six (6) battery-powered paint tote mixers with the following specifications: - Must be battery-powered with at least 1 HP. - Must offer variable speeds with both horizontal and vertical rotations. - Should be programmable with different operating/mixing modes. - Must include two pairs of stainless steel folding blades. - The shaft length must be adequate for mixing road paints of moderate viscosities in large 345-gallon totes. - A battery is required for each mixer, totaling six batteries for the six mixers.

Period of Performance

The delivery of the mixers must occur prior to the fiscal year end of June 30, 2026.

Delivery is to be made to the Utah Department of Transportation, Maintenance, Asset & Facility Management Division, Attention: Abdul Wakil, located at 4501 South 2700 West, Taylorsville, Utah 84129.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide documentation demonstrating compliance with the stated specifications and requirements. Additionally, vendors must certify that they are not currently debarred or have any conflicts of interest that might arise during the contract.
