The selected firm will be responsible for the master planning, development, financing, and long-term operation of the site. Key components include: - Development of multifamily residential units integrated with ground-floor retail and commercial spaces. - Creation of a pedestrian-friendly environment with outdoor gathering areas. - Implementation of an east-west boardwalk along the riverfront connecting to the Bonita Estero Rail Trail (BERT). - Opportunities for environmentally sensitive residential, commercial, and institutional developments. - Activities may include concerts, casual dining, canoeing/kayaking, and other community-focused events.
