YCIDA Gateway Gardens Landscape Restoration

Background

The York County Industrial Development Authority (YCIDA) is seeking bids for the construction of the Gateway Gardens Landscape Restoration project. This initiative aims to enhance the landscape of the Gateway Gardens area, aligning with YCIDA's mission to promote economic development and improve community spaces.

Work Details

The project includes: 1. Removal of existing site materials; 2. Installation of shrubs and perennial plantings; 3. Construction of stone seat blocks; 4. Development of a pea gravel trail system; 5. Installation of signage; 6. Implementation of general erosion and sediment control measures.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to be completed by May 29, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the Gateway Gardens site in York County, Pennsylvania.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with state anti-bid rigging regulations and submit a non-collusion affidavit with their bid. They are required to utilize the Federal Government’s E-Verify system for employee verification as mandated by Pennsylvania's Public Works Employment Verification Act. Bidders must also adhere to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act.
