The purpose of this acquisition is to acquire a preventative maintenance contract with the Kardex Remstar's only authorized reseller V&H Material Handling, LLC, to provide preventative maintenance services on the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Weapon Systems Support (WSS) 41 Vertical Storage Units (VSUs) manufactured by Kardex Remstar. Kardex Remstar has authorized V&H Material Handling LLC to be the sole dealer and maintenance provider for Kardex Remstar's VSUs for New York, Delaware and Pennsylvania in such, V & H is the only company that can provide preventative maintenance. The Base period of performance is from 6-01-26 to 5-31-27 with three (3) Option Years if exercised to continue coverage to 5-31-30.

Background The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Weapon Systems Support (WSS) is seeking to acquire a preventative maintenance contract for 41 Vertical Storage Units (VSUs) manufactured by Kardex Remstar. V&H Material Handling, LLC is the only authorized reseller and maintenance provider for these units in New York, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. The purpose of this acquisition is to ensure that the VSUs remain operational and continue to support NAVSUP's mission, particularly in relation to the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program (NNPP). The need for this contract arises as the manufacturer's warranty and initial support will end in 2025. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary to perform preventive maintenance on the 41 automated Vertical Storage Units. The scope of work includes: 1. Conducting scheduled maintenance procedures as per OEM recommendations. 2. Providing a written report for each unit within 10 working days post-maintenance detailing the current condition, potential future issues based on wear patterns, and longevity projections. 3. Performing checks on safety systems including photocells and emergency stop switches. 4. Ensuring proper alignment and leveling of storage units. 5. Lubricating chains and checking motor gear oil levels. 6. Documenting any observed problems during tray extraction from the units. Period of Performance Base Year: June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2027; Option Year One: June 1, 2027 to May 31, 2028; Option Year Two: June 1, 2028 to May 31, 2029; Option Year Three: June 1, 2029 to May 31, 2030. Place of Performance New York, Delaware, and Pennsylvania.
