The City of Denton is seeking proposals for Transformer Oil and Breaker SF6 Testing services. Work Details

The contractor will provide testing services for transformer oil and SF6 gas, which includes: - Routine turnaround time commitments for testing - Rush/expedited testing capabilities - Sample logistics support including kits, labels, shipping, and Chain of Custody (CoC) handling - Compliance with ASTM/IEC/IEEE standards for test methods - Data deliverables in PDF and CSV/Excel formats, including trending and diagnostic interpretation - Adherence to safety and hazardous materials handling protocols - Maintenance of Chain-of-Custody integrity during sample handling.

Period of Performance

The contract will be effective for one year from the date of award, with options to renew for four additional one-year periods. The contract may also be extended further as needed, not exceeding a total of six months.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at the City of Denton facilities located at 901-B Texas Street, Denton, TX 76209.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be registered with the State of Texas to provide the required services. They must possess relevant licenses or certifications for personnel performing electrical work.
