Background

The City of Dallas, through its Department of Aviation, is seeking proposals for the replacement of aging infrastructure at Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL). The existing twenty (20) Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBBs) and twenty (20) Ground Power Units (GPUs) are nearing the end of their service life and require replacement to ensure safe and efficient passenger operations. This project aims to maintain the functionality of the terminal concourse and support ongoing airport operations without increasing gate numbers or altering aircraft activity.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for: A. Demolishing, removing, and either storing or disposing of the existing twenty (20) PBBs and twenty (20) GPUs. B. Procuring, purchasing, shipping/delivering, and installing twenty (20) new PBBs and GPUs at existing locations. C. Acquiring any additional accessories and components necessary for the installation and operation of the new PBBs and GPUs. D. Removing, reinstalling, and/or storing all accessories and components related to both existing and new PBBs and GPUs.

The contract is expected to commence following the award date with specific timelines outlined in the solicitation documents.
