Work Details

The contractor will act as a third-party administrator responsible for: - Maintaining a list of certified subcontractors; - Soliciting quotes from these subcontractors; - Managing replacements ordered by GCWW; - Paying vendors and invoicing GCWW monthly; - Conducting outreach to increase small and inclusive contracting; - Potentially self-performing some replacements. The contractor will also develop and implement processes for one-off replacements initiated by customer requests or GCWW priorities. The estimated quantities for replacements include: - 60 emergency full replacements; - 140 emergency private-only replacements; - 100 non-emergency full replacements annually. The contractor must ensure competitive pricing through established procedures and maintain compliance with prevailing wage laws.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract will be one year with four optional renewal periods of twelve months each. The contract may be renewed automatically unless the City provides notice at least sixty days prior to the end of the current term.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed within the Greater Cincinnati Water Works service area, which includes parts of Hamilton County, Butler County, Warren County in Ohio, and Boone County and Florence in Kentucky.
