Suncrest Drive Transmission Line Improvements Project

Work Requested

The Suncrest Drive Transmission Line Improvements Project requires the following work: - Construction of two (2) cast-in-place valve vaults, including all associated piping and appurtenances. - Electrical improvements at a third, existing vault, as specified in the project Drawings. Some portions of the work must be performed during critical shutdown schedules, as outlined in the project documents. Contractors must coordinate closely with the City to ensure continued water supply to residents during these shutdown periods.

Background

The project is part of ongoing improvements to the Suncrest Drive transmission line. The work is designed to enhance the reliability and functionality of the water system infrastructure in the area.

Contract Requirements

- All labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the completion of the specified improvements must be provided by the contractor. - Strict adherence to the critical shutdown schedules and coordination with the City is required. - A 5% Bid Bond is required with all submissions.

Submission Instructions

- Bid documents and specifications will be available on U3P-Bonfire on or before Friday, May 8th, 2026. - A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 1:30 PM on Thursday, May 14th, 2026, at Draper City Hall Council Chambers, 1020 E. Pioneer Road. - Questions regarding the scope of work, response submittal, or process must be submitted electronically through U3P-Bonfire by 5:00pm on Thursday, May 21st, 2026. - Electronic responses must be submitted via U3P-Bonfire by 1:00pm on Thursday, May 28th, 2026. Late responses will not be accepted. - Responses will be publicly opened at the stated time and date, with only the names of submitting firms and their total bid amounts being read aloud. All interested parties are invited to attend.

Additional Information

Draper City is not responsible for any expenses incurred prior to award by the City Council. The City reserves the right to reject any and all responses and to waive any irregularities, informalities, or technicalities deemed in the best interest of the City.
