Background The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), Contract Services Directorate, is seeking sources for the Technical Services Office (TSO) Combined Support. The agency's mission is to provide financial management services for the Department of Defense. This contract aims to gather qualified and experienced sources, including small businesses, to support various technical services essential for DFAS operations. Work Details The contractor will provide approximately nine (9) full-time staff capable of delivering support in the following areas: - Software Development: Requirements Definition, Design & Analysis, Engineering, Programming, Debugging, Maintenance, Migration, and Reuse Support. - Implementation: Software & Hardware Installation/Implementation, Hardware Migration, and Document Conversion. - Analysis & Improvement: Functional & Business Process Improvement, Software Process Improvement, and Economic/Business Case Analysis. - Support Services: Customer Support and Operations Support. - Oversight & Management: Quality Assurance, Risk Management, Configuration Management, and full System Life Cycle Management. - Security: Information Assurance. The contractor shall achieve primary goals including robust production support for all Automated Information Systems (AIS), responsive customer support for end-users and stakeholders, management of all phases of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC), implementation of system administration and internal controls with comprehensive documentation, and thorough testing and quality assurance throughout the lifecycle. Place of Performance The work will be performed in the Cleveland, Ohio local commuting area.
