Summary

Period of Performance

REQUIREMENT The Contractor shall provide a certified technical accountant to perform the tasks in Section 6 in direct support of the Section Head (Treasury & Accounting), BUDFIN, HQ SACT. Services shall be delivered as LOE on-site and include coordination across ACT entities as required to execute ACT-wide accounting and reporting responsibilities.

Work Details The Contractor shall provide a certified technical accountant to support the Section Head (Treasury & Accounting) at BUDFIN, HQ SACT. The services include: 1. Supporting development, implementation, and compliance with policies and international accounting standards. 2. Contributing to ACT-wide IPSAS accounting policy/directives and participating in IPSAS implementation activities. 3. Drafting/updating accounting-related guidance and reports aligned with NATO financial regulations. 4. Developing and delivering training on accounting and IPSAS standards across ACT entities. 5. Providing hands-on support for daily accounting operations including audit support and budgeting as required. 6. Ensuring accuracy in general ledger activities, cash management, financial statements inputs, and bank reconciliations. 7. Conducting monthly/quarterly reconciliations and closure activities with supporting documentation. 8. Preparing ACT consolidated annual financial statements including coordination with subordinate HQs/reporting entities.
