Background The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) is the Navy's full-spectrum research, development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support center for submarine warfare systems and other systems associated with the undersea battle space. The center serves over eight thousand employees, contractors, and visitors annually. This contract aims to provide water vending services to benefit all NUWCDIVNPT employees through the Command Morale Welfare and Recreation (CMWR) program. Work Details The contractor shall provide water vending services by installing water dispensing machines in no more than eighty-one (81) buildings at NUWCDIVNPT and Naval Station Newport (NAVSTA). The contractor is responsible for fulfilling requests from building/floor water pool coordinators and must ensure that services are only provided where there is an active subscription. The contractor will remit a fixed percentage of gross sales per month to the CMWR/FSB in exchange for providing these services. The machines must dispense non-bottled water, be equipped with hot/cold options, and comply with all relevant safety guidelines. Payments to CMWR must be made within 14 days of service delivery, with specific tracking of subscriptions required. The contractor must also handle all necessary permits and comply with local laws. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a period of five years. Place of Performance Work will be performed at various buildings within the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport and Naval Station Newport.
