The County of Rockland, on behalf of the Empire State Cooperative Procurement Alliance (ESCPA), is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide professional auction services. The scope of work includes: - Sale and disposal of surplus municipal personal property - Auctioning of equipment and vehicles - Excludes real estate auction services (these may be solicited separately in the future) These services will be made available for use by the County of Rockland as well as all political subdivisions, school districts, BOCES, special districts, and other authorized entities throughout New York State, in accordance with New York State General Municipal Law 103(3). The County of Rockland is the requesting entity for this solicitation, acting on behalf of the ESCPA. This contract is intended to establish a statewide cooperative agreement for auction services related to municipal personal property, equipment, and vehicles. Real estate auctions are not included in this contract. Contract requirements include that only vendors who download the official solicitation documents from the Bonfire System (https://rocklandgov.bonfirehub.com/portal) are guaranteed to receive all official attachments, drawings, and addenda. Documents obtained from other sources are not considered official. To submit a proposal, interested vendors must register and download the solicitation from the Bonfire Portal.
