Background

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a Blanket Order Agreement for the supply of materials for the masonry trade, specifically Plaster, Lime, and Thoroseal. The goal of this contract is to ensure that these materials are readily available for delivery on an 'as needed' basis to support NYCHA's ongoing projects and maintenance needs. The initial term of the agreement is three years, with the possibility of two one-year extensions at NYCHA's discretion.

Work Details

The awarded vendor will supply the following materials: 1. **Thoroseal** - 3,330 bags of Gray MS 581, 50 lbs each (SKU: TSG50) 2. **Lime** - 44,530 bags of Hydrated Graymont Type N Finish Lime, 50 lbs each (SKU: FL50) 3. **Plaster** - 201,050 bags of Gypsum USG Structolite, 50 lbs each (SKU: ST80) 4. **Plaster** - 50,555 bags of Gypsum USG Gauging Plaster, 50 lbs each (SKU: GP50) 5. **Plaster** - Diamond® Brand Sanded White Veneer Finish Plaster, 50 lbs each (SKU: USG SKU PART #162640). Materials must be delivered within 15 days after receipt of order. There is no minimum quantity per order, and prices are fixed for one year post-award with one allowable price increase per year based on manufacturer documentation.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and will last for an initial term of three years from February 2, 2023, to February 1, 2026. It may be renewed for two additional one-year periods at NYCHA's discretion.

Place of Performance

Delivery will be made to various locations within New York City limits as specified by NYCHA's warehouses or developments.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be registered with the New York State Department of State (NYS DOS). All HUD forms must be submitted with the bid proposal. Samples may be required within ten days upon request for final review by NYCHA's Subject Matter Experts.
