RIDOT: On-Call Design Consultant Servies Program 1

Background

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the On-Call Design Consultant Services Program 1. The purpose of this contract is to engage firms that possess adequate size, sufficient staff, and relevant experience to perform various RIDOT Work Order assignments. These assignments will involve multiple engineering disciplines including bridge, facilities, highway, safety, site, and stormwater engineering. The services will be managed under the direction of RIDOT's Office of Project Management.

Work Details

The selected consultant will be responsible for conducting necessary surveys, inspections, borings, permitting, analysis, design, investigations, and review of existing reports. The work will encompass a variety of tasks necessary to adequately detail the work required for each assignment. Specific services include but are not limited to: - Conducting surveys and inspections - Performing borings - Obtaining necessary permits - Analyzing data - Designing engineering solutions - Investigating project sites - Reviewing pertinent existing reports.

Period of Performance

The contract period is expected to begin on May 07, 2026, and end on June 04, 2026.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed within the State of Rhode Island.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must register in Ocean State Procures™ to submit proposals. Additionally, vendors are required to maintain registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Rhode Island for the duration of the contract. All personnel performing work must possess all necessary licenses as required by applicable laws. Vendors must also provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation.
