RIDOT: Remote controlled Slope Mower with Trailer

Background

The Rhode Island Department of Transportation (RIDOT) is seeking bids for the procurement of two Remote Controlled Slope Mowers along with their respective trailers. The goal of this contract is to enhance RIDOT's operational capabilities in maintaining slopes effectively and efficiently. The mowers and trailers must meet specific minimum specifications as outlined in the solicitation.

Work Details

The contract requires the delivery of two (2) Remote Controlled Slope Mowers, specifically the 'SLOPE PRO HIGH DRIVE MOWER', along with two (2) CROSS COUNTRY 6852 trailers, or an approved equal that meets or exceeds the specified minimum requirements. Each unit must be a current production model from the manufacturer, complete with all standard equipment, special tools, and warranties. The units should be manufactured to standard design specifications.

Period of Performance

The contract performance period is from May 07, 2026, to June 04, 2026.

Place of Performance

The products will be delivered to a designated location in Rhode Island as specified by RIDOT.

Bidder Requirements

All vendors are eligible to respond to this bid. Vendors must register in Ocean State Procures™ to submit responses and receive potential awards. Insurance requirements include liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence, workers' compensation coverage, and automobile liability insurance among others as detailed in the solicitation.
