Street Light Repairs And Materials Contract

Background

The Village of Elk Grove Village is seeking qualified contractors to undertake repairs and provide materials for the Village’s unmetered residential streetlights and lighting systems located on State, County, and Village roadways. This initiative aims to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of public lighting infrastructure, which is essential for safety and visibility in residential areas.

Work Details

Contractors will be responsible for repairing and providing materials specifically for unmetered residential streetlights and lighting systems. This includes all necessary components as outlined in the Specifications and Contract Document No. PW-2627-10. Bidders are advised to review the General Conditions and detailed specifications thoroughly to understand the scope of work required.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to continue until all specified repairs and material provisions are completed. A bid opening is scheduled for May 26, 2026.

The work will be performed within the geographic boundaries of Elk Grove Village, specifically on State, County, and Village roadways.

Bidder Requirements

All bidders must be prequalified prior to receiving bid proposal packets. Prequalification forms are available on the Village’s website. Bidders must submit a completed Work History Statement detailing their experience, business licenses, contract quantitative experience over the past five years, and any proposed subcontractors' work items.
