Background

The Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS) is seeking a vendor to provide labor and Brand Name materials necessary to install a keying system for the newly renovated facility for the Alton Mental Health Center (AMHC) located at 4500 College Ave, Alton, Illinois 62002. This procurement is specifically for small business set-aside program vendors only.

Work Details

The vendor is required to provide the following supplies and services: 1. Interchangeable Cores: - 1,950 BEST 'E' Series six-pin interchangeable cores, pre-configured into twenty-three separate key core groups. Each core group shall correspond to a designated key control card. 2. Keys: - 2,200 BEST 'E' Series pre-cut keys corresponding to the installed cores, properly matched to their respective core groups. 3. Installation and Testing: - Install all interchangeable cores in the facility’s lock hardware and verify proper function of all cores and keys. 4. Key Rings: - Provide 350 key rings, sized 1-5/8” diameter for key distribution and control. 5. Coordination: - Coordinate installation with facility staff to ensure the keying system matches designated core group assignments and key control plan. 6. Restricted Keyway Requirement: - All interchangeable cores and keys must utilize a restricted BEST 'E' series keyway system, ensuring that duplicate keys cannot be produced without written authorization from AMHC.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon execution and must be completed by June 30, 2026.

Place of Performance

All services will be performed at the Alton Mental Health Center located at 4500 College Ave, Alton, Illinois 62002.
