Background

The Illinois State Police (ISP) is seeking to procure a service and maintenance contract for cafeteria and kitchen equipment at the ISP Academy. The goal of this contract is to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired, thereby supporting the operational needs of the ISP.

Work Details

The vendor will provide on-site repair and maintenance services for various cafeteria and kitchen equipment, including but not limited to: - Walk-in freezer with water cooled compressor - Walk-in cooler with cooled compressor - Walk-in milk cooler with water cooled compressor - (2) Reach in coolers - Electric steam table - Electric commercial griddle - Jackson AJ-100 flight type dishwasher - Hatco booster heater - Hoshizaki ice machine - Manitowoc ice machine - (2) Pitco Frialator deep fryers - Southbend commercial gas stove - Groen steamer cabinet - Alto Shaam hot boxes - Duke pizza oven - In-Sinkerator garbage disposal - Hatco toaster - Hobart warming cabinet - Hobart meat slicer. The vendor must follow manufacturer guidelines for all repairs and maintenance, using only new parts. The vendor is responsible for providing estimates prior to work commencement and must respond to service requests within 24 hours, excluding weekends.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract will commence on July 1, 2026, and end on June 30, 2030. The total term of the contract may not exceed ten years, including any renewal terms.

Place of Performance

All services will be performed at the Illinois State Police Academy located in Springfield, Illinois.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have an active registration in the Illinois Procurement Gateway (IPG) and possess a valid State of Illinois Vendor Registration Number. Vendors are required to certify that they are not barred from having a contract with the State based on violations related to procurement specifications or assistance to State employees. Subcontractors are not allowed under this contract.
