Background

The University of Iowa, located in Iowa City, Iowa, is a prominent public university recognized for its academic achievements and leadership in research. The Athletics department comprises 22 Division I teams in the Big Ten Conference and aims to provide a superior academic and athletic experience for over 550 student-athletes. This Request for Qualifications (RFQL) seeks proposals from qualified suppliers to enhance the digital presence of the University of Iowa Athletics through comprehensive website and mobile application services.

Work Details

The selected supplier will provide a range of services including: - Website hosting, design, development, and ongoing support. - Mobile application design, development, integration, and maintenance. - Implementation and support of a content management system (CMS). - Digital accessibility services to ensure compliance with standards. - Integration with current and future third-party platforms such as ticketing and fundraising systems. - Support for emerging web technologies that enhance fan engagement and operational efficiency. The supplier must demonstrate capabilities in creating secure, scalable, user-friendly platforms that meet the marketing and operational objectives of the Athletics department.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and is expected to last for an initial period of one year with potential extensions up to four additional one-year periods, totaling a maximum duration of five years.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed primarily at the University of Iowa's campus in Iowa City, Iowa.

Bidder Requirements

Suppliers must demonstrate compliance with specific qualifications including expertise in collegiate athletics or comparable environments. They are required to submit audited financial statements from the previous two years along with references from similar engagements. Additionally, suppliers must agree to adhere to the University's Professional Services Agreement terms which include insurance requirements.
