Specialized Service to Furnish Copies of Sensitive Legal and Medical Records and Serve Subpoenas

Background

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) is issuing this Invitation for Bids (IFB) for specialized services to furnish copies of sensitive legal and medical records, as well as to serve subpoenas. The contract is intended to support the CTA's operational needs over a specified period, ensuring compliance with legal requirements while maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Work Details

The contractor will provide the following services: 1. Furnish copies of sensitive legal and medical records as requested by the CTA. 2. Serve subpoenas related to these records. The contract duration is for 36 months with two optional extensions of 12 months each. The contractor must ensure that all services are performed in compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding confidentiality and data protection.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a period of 36 months, with two optional extensions of 12 months each.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at locations designated by the Chicago Transit Authority, primarily within the Chicago area.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide proof of insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation, including but not limited to: - Workers’ Compensation - Commercial General Liability ($2,000,000 General Aggregate) - Auto Liability ($1,000,000 Combined Single Limit) - Professional Liability ($1,000,000 Per Claim/Aggregate) - Cyber Security & Network Privacy Liability ($2,000,000 Per Occurrence/Aggregate). Additionally, bidders must comply with all local regulations and requirements for doing business with the CTA.
