Contract for Purchase or Lease of Specialized Rehab Equipment

Background

The County of Bucks, Pennsylvania, is seeking to contract for the purchase and delivery or lease of specialized rehabilitation technology for the Neshaminy Manor Nursing Facility. This equipment will focus on electrotherapy, diathermy, virtual reality, ultrasound, and therapeutic exercise systems to enhance rehabilitation services provided to residents.

Work Details

The contractor will provide either the purchase or lease of specialized rehabilitation equipment including: 1. Accelerated Care Plus, OmniVersa Multi-Modality Therapy System, Model #100FXF, or Equal 2. Accelerated Care Plus, 5.0 cm therapeutic Ultrasound transducer for OmniVersa, Model #1203000F, or Equal 3. Accelerated Care Plus, OmniVersa Custom Modality Cart for convenient transportation for the Multi-Modality Therapy System, Model #100AN1, or Equal 4. Accelerated Care Plus, OmniSWD Shortwave Diathermy System, Model #1903030, or Equal 5. Accelerated Care Plus, OmniStim Fx2 Cycle/Walk Portable Simulator, Model #300400A, or Equal 6. Accelerated Care Plus, OmniVR Virtual Rehabilitation System, Model #300600A, or Equal 7. Accelerated Care Plus, OmniCycle Elite Motorized Therapeutic Ergometer, Model #A000-533, or Equal. The vendor must ensure all equipment is new and first-class quality that meets specifications set by the Procurement Director. The vendor will also be responsible for delivery and installation of all equipment and accessories necessary for full operation.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed over a five-year period with monthly billing under the lease option or as specified in the purchase agreement.

Place of Performance

The equipment will be delivered to the Neshaminy Manor Nursing Facility located at 1660 South Easton Road, Warrington, PA 18976.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with specific insurance requirements including Commercial General Liability with limits of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate; Automobile Liability; Excess Liability; and Workers Compensation coverage. Bidders must also ensure that their employees pass a criminal background check prior to working on-site at the facility.
