Background

The City of Charlottesville Parks & Recreation Department is issuing a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the supply and delivery of chemicals for various aquatic facilities. The purpose of this RFQ is to establish a term contract to provide liquid chemicals and delivery services to support the operation, staffing, and maintenance of city-operated pools.

Work Details

The contractor will provide, deliver, and install aquatic chemicals as specified in the pricing schedule to the following locations: - Smith Aquatic & Fitness Center (1000A Cherry Ave.) with yearly deliveries from January 1 to December 31; - Washington Park Pool (1001 Preston Ave.) with seasonal deliveries from April to September; - Onesty Family Aquatic Center (1001 Preston Ave.) with seasonal deliveries from May to September; - Forest Hills Spray Grounds (1022 Forest Hills Ave.) with seasonal deliveries from May to September; - Tonsler Park Spray Grounds (500 Cherry Ave.) with seasonal deliveries from May to September. Deliveries are scheduled to start on May 20, 2026.
