Firestone Park Project

Background

The City of Columbiana is seeking a consultant for the Firestone Park roadway improvements project, which aims to enhance infrastructure within the city. The project involves construction inspection and administration services for a roadway improvement spanning approximately 0.64 miles. The estimated construction cost is $1,186,086.00.

Work Details

The consultant will provide Construction Inspection and Construction Administration services, which include: - Sidewalk and drainage installation - Removal and storage of brick gutter for reuse - Pavement replacement - Pavement marking and signage installation. Specific personnel required include: Project Inspector 1, Construction Engineer Level 2, and a Construction Management Firm. The consultant must also comply with prequalification requirements set by the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) for engineering and design-related services.

Period of Performance

The project is scheduled to be sold by June 1, 2026, awarded by July 1, 2026. Construction is expected to begin in August 2026 and be completed no later than November 2026.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed in Columbiana County at Firestone Park.

Bidder Requirements

Consultants must be prequalified in relevant categories as per ODOT standards. Only individuals (not firms) are eligible for construction inspection activities. The prime consultant and all subconsultants providing engineering and design-related services must meet financial management system evaluation requirements. Firms on the federal list of suspended or debarred entities are not eligible for selection.
