Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the maintenance of fire alarm and suppression systems at Kalaupapa National Historical Park. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and compliance of fire protection systems in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and standards. Work Details The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and other items necessary to perform annual testing and maintenance services for the fire alarms and fire suppression systems at Kalaupapa National Historical Park. Specific tasks include: - Conducting Annual Fire Alarm System Testing, Inspecting, & Preventive Maintenance. - Performing Annual Fire Suppression System Testing at designated buildings including Bayview Home Residences, McVeigh Social Hall, St. Philomena Church, and others. - Providing a comprehensive maintenance program that meets or exceeds NFPA standards. - Coordinating with park staff for scheduling maintenance and testing. - Delivering written reports after each service inspection detailing findings and necessary repairs. - Conducting function testing after normal business hours to minimize disruption to park operations. - Ensuring that all inspections, adjustments, and repairs are performed by qualified personnel. - Responding promptly to any issues that arise with the systems to minimize downtime. Period of Performance The contract will have a base year from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with four additional option years extending through June 30, 2031.
