Gilead Hill School Roofing and Code Violations Project Clerk of the Works

Background

The Gilead Hill School Roofing and Code Violation Building Committee, on behalf of the Town of Hebron and the Hebron Board of Education, is soliciting Requests for Qualifications (RFQs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from individuals to fulfill the role of 'Clerk of the Works.' This position is essential for overseeing the roofing project and addressing code violations at Gilead Hill School.

Work Details

The Clerk of the Works will be responsible for providing architectural design and construction management services during the construction phase, if awarded. Key tasks include: - Establishing a project management system - Conducting regular status meetings with BOE staff - Providing monthly project progress reports - Preparing design concept reports (DCR) - Creating detailed design and construction documents - Assisting with bidding processes - Offering construction phase services such as project administration assistance, reviewing shop drawings, and ensuring quality control testing. The consultant will also coordinate utility approvals and assist in public meetings as needed.
