RIARNG - Coventry P3 HVAC Replacement

Background

The Rhode Island Army National Guard (RIARNG) is seeking vendors to replace the existing HVAC system at Building P-3. The goal of this contract is to improve operational readiness, ensure overall maintenance of the facility, and reduce operation and maintenance costs.

Work Details

The contract involves the replacement of the HVAC system at Building P-3 located at the RIARNG Readiness Center in Coventry, RI. The base bid includes an allowance for site conditions of $5,000. The successful vendor will be responsible for all aspects of the HVAC replacement project as specified in the attached project manual and drawings. Liquidated damages are set at $500 per day for delays beyond the substantial completion date.

Period of Performance

The work is expected to start 14 calendar days after receipt of the purchase order. Substantial completion is required within five months from the start date, followed by final completion 30 calendar days after substantial completion.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at Building P-3, RIARNG Readiness Center, 570 Read Schoolhouse Road, Coventry, RI 02816.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must possess all necessary licenses and permits required by Rhode Island law to perform the work described in this solicitation. A valid certificate of registration issued by the Rhode Island Contractors’ Registration Board must be maintained throughout the contract term. Additionally, vendors must provide a bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of their cost proposal.
