Motor Vehicle Auto Body Repairs

Background

The State of Rhode Island is seeking to establish an open-enrollment list of qualified vendors for motor vehicle auto body repairs. This initiative aims to ensure that state-owned vehicles, including passenger cars, SUVs, trucks, and specialty units, remain in safe and operational condition through timely and professional repairs. The contract will support various state agencies operating a diverse fleet requiring such services throughout the year.

Work Details

Vendors will provide motor vehicle auto body repairs including but not limited to: accident-related damage, collision repairs, and other associated services necessary for maintaining state-owned vehicles. The services are expected to be performed on an as-needed basis and may include additional requirements specified by individual state agencies.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence on May 6, 2026, and will extend until January 31, 2029. There is an option for renewal for up to two additional 12-month periods based on vendor performance and availability of funds.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at various locations throughout the State of Rhode Island as required by the state agencies utilizing the contract.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must register in Ocean State Procures™ to submit responses. They must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding licensing and insurance. Specific insurance requirements include liability coverage of $1 million per occurrence, workers' compensation insurance, and automobile liability insurance. Vendors must also complete an MBE Participation Acknowledgment Form if applicable.
