Work Details

The vendor will be responsible for the removal of all scrap metal from designated areas within the Dixon Correctional Grounds, including various types of metals and old farm equipment. The vendor must provide necessary equipment such as skid steers, backhoes, track hoes, dumpsters, tandem trucks, and semi-tractor trailers for the removal process. The vendor is also required to ensure safety on campus grounds and take full responsibility for all equipment and personnel during their time on site. All scrap materials must be transported away from the facility, with specific weight documentation required for compliance with state laws. Additionally, if any traffic signs or markers are found among the scrap, they must be shredded or bailed and not sold. The contract stipulates that work should be performed during normal business hours (Monday through Friday) unless otherwise agreed upon.
