MnDOT Rectangular Rapid Flash Beacon Sign Material

Background

The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) is issuing this Request for Bid (RFB) to procure Rectangular Rapid Flash Beacon (RRFB) System Sign Materials. This initiative aims to enhance speed mitigation at two intersections along Minnesota State Trunk Highway 55, specifically at Washburn Avenue in Belgrade and Central Avenue in Brooten. The project is part of MnDOT's commitment to improving traffic safety through the office of Traffic and Safety.

Work Details

The contract involves supplying RRFB System Sign Materials necessary for the installation at the specified intersections. Responders must ensure that all materials meet the specifications outlined in Exhibit C of the Sample Contract, which includes detailed duties and scope of work. Additionally, responders are required to include freight costs in their bid pricing.

Period of Performance

The anticipated contract term is from May 14, 2026, to June 30, 2026, with an option for extension based on state determination.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at two locations: Washburn Avenue in Belgrade and Central Avenue in Brooten, Minnesota.

Bidder Requirements
