Open Enrollment Lift Trucks, Inspections, and Maintenance

Background

The State of Rhode Island is issuing this solicitation for the MPA 445 Open Enrollment Lift Trucks, Inspections, and Maintenance to establish a qualified list of vendors specialized in the repair, service, inspection, warranty repair, and maintenance of motorized aerial and hoisting equipment. This includes equipment such as hoisting equipment, personnel lifts, bucket trucks, construction cranes, forklifts, and stationary hoisting equipment. The goal is to ensure that state agencies have access to qualified vendors for these essential services on an as-needed basis.

Work Details

Vendors will provide services related to the repair, service, inspection, warranty repair, and maintenance of various types of motorized aerial and hoisting equipment. This includes but is not limited to: hoisting equipment, personnel lifts, bucket trucks, construction cranes, forklifts, and stationary hoisting equipment. The solicitation allows for quarterly reviews every 90 days to assess vendor qualifications and performance.

Period of Performance

The initial contract period will begin approximately July 1, 2026 for three (3) years with options for renewal for up to two (2) additional 12-month periods based on vendor performance and availability of funds.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed within the State of Rhode Island as required by various state agencies.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must register in Ocean State Procures™ to submit responses. They are required to possess all necessary licenses and insurance as specified in the solicitation. Vendors must also comply with MBE/WBE participation requirements as outlined in R.I. Gen. Laws § 37-14.1-1.
