Background

The State of Utah Division of Facilities Construction and Management (DFCM) is seeking proposals for construction services for the Ogden Regional Center. This facility is designed to consolidate multiple state agencies. The goal of this project is to remodel a portion of the existing structure to enhance operational efficiency while maintaining agency functions.

Work Details

The project involves the remodel of 14,520 sq ft within an 88,150 sq ft single-level facility. Key components include: - Remodeling for the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), common hallways, and bathrooms. - Partial HVAC system upgrades and installation of new mechanical equipment. - Complete re-roofing of the building, including removal and installation of roof-mounted mechanical units. - Site improvements such as paving. The construction cost estimate is $7,800,000.
