BARGREN 2119 12th Street Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation

Background

The City of Moline is issuing an Invitation to Bid for the CAP-E-3-52 BARGREN project, which involves owner-occupied rehabilitation at 2119 12th Street, Moline, IL. The Community Housing Services Program (CHS) aims to improve housing conditions for residents through this initiative.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Remove and replace the roofing system, including addressing structural damage in the attic space. Install 7/16” OSB over the entire roof, apply 15 lb felt, and install self-sealing, 25-year laminated architectural shingles. Replace all flashing and ensure compliance with current International Residential Building Code. 2. Replace deteriorating gutters on the principal structure with 6-inch seamless aluminum gutters and downspouts. Install downspouts at each corner and major offsets with hidden hangers every 3 feet on center. Ensure that downspouts do not discharge onto the roof surface.

Period of Performance

The work must be completed within forty-five (45) calendar days of contract execution.

Bidder Requirements

Contractors must be licensed general contractors with the City of Moline and comply with all applicable State, County, and City licensing requirements. They must also have an active SAM registration and Unique Entity Identifier (UEI). Compliance with EPA's Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule is mandatory for projects involving pre-1978 structures.
