Background Granite School District (GSD) is seeking to establish a contract for biosafety cabinet and chemical fume hood testing and certification services. The goal of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to ensure compliance with safety standards through proper testing and certification of laboratory equipment used within the district. Work Details The vendor will provide testing and certification services for Class II Biosafety Cabinets and Chemical Fume Hoods, including: - Testing of approximately 465.14 Sq. Ft. across 8 HEPAs, with specific areas being: - Anteroom: Approx. 141.44 Sq. Ft.; (2) HEPAs - Cleanroom: Approx. 323.7 Sq. Ft.; (6) HEPAs - Services include: - Air Velocities/Volume and Uniformity Test - HEPA Filter Leak Test - Airborne Particle Counts (0.5 and 1.0 microns) - Room Pressurization - A report must be included with the results of the tests conducted. Period of Performance The contract will be for one (1) year with an option to renew for four (4) additional years. Place of Performance Services will be performed at Granite School District facilities in Utah. Bidder Requirements Vendors must not have any outstanding tax liens in the State of Utah to submit a quote, bid, or offer.
