ASR Phase IV: W-17 Water Main

The City of Hastings, Nebraska, is inviting bids for the project identified as Contract No. HU 2026-51 ASR Phase IV: W-17 Water Main. Bids must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at the City of Hastings, located at 1228 N Denver Ave., Hastings, Nebraska. At that time, all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The project involves the installation of 4,761 linear feet of HDD HDPE water main, along with additional fittings and valves. If you intend to bid and are not already on the approved bidders list for this project, you are required to complete the Plan Holders Submittal Form available on the City's website: https://www.cityofhastings.org/bids/. The Contract Documents, including plans and specifications, can be found at the City of Hastings office. Electronic copies in PDF format can be accessed via the City's website, while a paper copy is available for a fee of $75.00, plus sales tax ($5.25), and shipping costs. Each bid must include a certified check or bid bond of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid amount, made payable to the City Treasurer of Hastings, as security for the contract. Bids cannot be withdrawn after the opening without the City's consent for a period of sixty (60) days. Timeliness in project completion will be a key evaluation criterion. The successful bidder must provide a 3-Year Maintenance Bond within ten (10) days of the award date, with no additional time allowed for this requirement.
