Bus Wash Procurement

SouthWest Transit is inviting sealed bids for the furnishing and installation of a bus wash at their headquarters. Bids must be submitted by 1:00 p.m. local time on 06/05/2026, and will be publicly opened immediately after the submission deadline. The location for bid submission is SouthWest Transit, 14405 West 62nd Street, Eden Prairie, MN 55346. Bidders can review the procurement specifications and bid documents on SouthWest Transit's website at www.swtransit.org/about-swt/bids/. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled to take place via Microsoft Teams on 05/12/2026 at 02:00 p.m. Bidders are required to submit any questions regarding the bidding documents in writing by 1:00 p.m. on 05/18/2026 to RFB Bus Wash, SouthWest Transit, 14405 W 62nd Street, Eden Prairie, MN 55346, or via email at BusWash@swtransit.org. All inquiries will be addressed in a written addendum by 05/20/2026. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope or via email, clearly labeled with Bid for SouthWest Transit Bus Wash. Combined bids in the same envelope or email will not be accepted. Each bid must include a bid bond of at least 5% of the total bid amount. Bidders must be classified as responsible contractors as defined by Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3. SouthWest Transit reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive minor irregularities, and award contracts in their best interest.
