Background The State of Hawai‘i, Department of Agriculture and Biosecurity, Agricultural Resource Management Division (ARMD) is seeking bids for the procurement of three (3) new 2026 (or latest production model) four-wheel drive, crew cab, 1/2-ton pickup trucks. The purpose of this contract is to enhance the operational capabilities of the department in fulfilling its mission related to agricultural resource management. Work Details The contractor will provide three (3) new 2026 or latest production model four-wheel drive, crew cab, 1/2-ton pickup trucks. The specifications include: - Condition: New, 2026 or latest production model - Model/Type: Four-wheel drive, Crew Cab, Half ton (150 or 1500 series) Pickup Truck - Minimum Seating Capacity: Four (4) - Preferred Color: White, Silver, Beige, or Manufacturer’s standard color - Engine: Alternative Fuel compatible or Non-Plug In Hybrid - Transmission: Automatic overdrive transmission - Drive Train: 4WD - Bed Length: 5’8” to 6’6” preferred - Tires/Wheels: Mud Terrain tires - Minimum Towing Capacity: 13,000 lbs. - Minimum Ground Clearance: 10” - Two sets of keys for each vehicle. Additional features include off-road suspension with skid plate package, heavy-duty cooling system, power winch with a minimum capacity at least 1.5 times Gross Vehicle Weight, and installation of State of Hawai‘i supplied vehicle graphics prior to delivery. Delivery locations include Ho‘olehua and Waimea in Hawai‘i. Period of Performance The vehicles must be delivered by September 30, 2026. Place of Performance Delivery locations are specified as follows: Two trucks to Department of Agriculture and Biosecurity at 66-1220 B Lalamilo Farm Road, Waimea, HI 96720; One truck to Department of Agriculture and Biosecurity at 801 Pu‘upe‘elua Avenue, Ho‘olehua, HI 96729. Bidder Requirements Bidders must submit a completed Bid Form using their exact legal name as registered with the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs. They must also provide a current statement from the Director of Taxation confirming that all delinquent taxes have been paid. Bidders should be compliant with Hawai‘i Compliance Express and must not be in default on any obligations to the State.
