Work Details The contractor will provide various on-call services including: 1. Installation of irrigation water service laterals, meters, and meter boxes at various locations in the Waimānalo district. 2. Removal of trees from reservoir embankments, access roads, and various DAB parcels in the Waimānalo district. 3. Removal of sediment and debris from ditches, flumes, culverts, etc., in the Waimānalo district. 4. Repair/replacement of gate valves varying in size from 4” to 12” in both the Waimānalo district and Kahuku Agricultural Park. 5. Locating and repairing/replacing segments of leaking irrigation pipelines in both areas. 6. Installation/repair/replacement of chain link fencing in both districts. 7. Troubleshooting, repair, and/or replacement of pumps and ancillary pump components in both districts. 8. Hauling/disposal of miscellaneous illegally dumped materials. Period of Performance The contract will be performed over a period of 730 calendar days from the Notice To Proceed date issued by DAB. Place of Performance The work will be conducted on the Island of O‘ahu, specifically within the Waimānalo Irrigation System and Kahuku Agricultural Park. Bidder Requirements Bidders must possess a valid State Contractor’s license, Classification A. They are required to comply with all laws governing entities doing business in the State including chapters related to general excise tax, unemployment insurance, workers' compensation, temporary disability insurance, and pre-paid health care.
