Southgate Course Water Main Replacement & Road Reclamation

In order to eliminate aging and undersized water main, 8 ductile iron main will be constructed throughout the project limits of Southgate Course, Southgate Court, and Foxwood Lane. The proposed water main is to be located beneath the roadway, and all existing watermain is to be abandoned. Water main will be installed via traditional open-cut methods and backfilled prior to the full depth reclamation within the aforementioned limits. The pavement will be removed and replaced with cement base stabilization. Longmeadow Circle includes a full-depth reclamation of the existing bituminous pavement and underlying base materials to a specified depth, and Iroquois Avenue includes pavement removal and resurfacing. Additional work includes sidewalk, curb and gutter and hydrant replacements.
