Background The Department of Parks and Recreation of the City & County of Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking bids for the furnishing and delivery of various trucks. Work Details The contractor will furnish and deliver three types of trucks as specified in Appendix A: Scope of Work: 1. **Pick-Up Truck with Crew Cab, 2WD and SRW** (1 unit): - Model: New, current production year or later. - Payload Capacity: Minimum 4,000 lb. - Engine: Minimum 400 horsepower; Gas or flex fuel. - Cargo Bed: 96" with manufacturer’s standard tie downs, coated with a spray-on protector. - Safety compliant with FMVSS. 2. **Pick-Up Truck with Standard Cab, Flatbed Body, 2WD, DRW and Stake Sides** (1 unit): - Model: New, current production year or later. - Payload Capacity: Minimum 6,600 lb. - Engine: 470 horsepower, diesel fueled, B20 capable. - Flatbed Body: 96" constructed of 10-gauge smooth steel with removable stake sides. 3. **18,000 lb. GVWR Truck with Standard Cab, 180” Flatbed Body with Stake Sides and Liftgate** (1 unit): - Model: New, current production year or later. - Payload Capacity: Minimum 11,000 lb. - Engine: Minimum 7.0 Liter Displacement; Gas or flex fuel. - Flatbed Body: 180" constructed of 10-gauge smooth steel with removable stake sides and a hydraulic liftgate. Period of Performance Delivery timelines are specified as follows: - Item No. 1 & Item No. 2: Three hundred sixty (360) calendar days from Notice-to-Proceed (NTP) commencement date. - Item No. 3: Five hundred forty (540) calendar days from NTP commencement date. Place of Performance Deliveries shall be made to the Department of Facility Maintenance at Halawa Corporation Yard, Aiea, Hawaii during regular City business hours. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with the following requirements: - Must be licensed under Chapter 437 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes for motor vehicle manufacturers and distributors. - Must provide proof of a licensed service and repair facility on Oahu authorized by the vehicle manufacturer to provide warranty services. - Registration as 'Compliant' on the State of Hawaii Compliance Express System is required prior to contract award.
