This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number 1240LR26Q0013 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Boise National Forest Gloria Ford Estate Decommissioning. Background The Boise National Forest, part of the USDA Forest Service, is issuing solicitation number 1240LR26Q0013 for the decommissioning of the Gloria Ford Estate. The goal of this contract is to safely dismantle and remove dilapidated structures and associated debris from a recently burned area, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations. This acquisition is set aside for small business concerns. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to perform the following tasks: 1. Dismantling and demolition of all structures including buildings, foundations, concrete walkways, and related appurtenances. 2. Removal and off-site disposal of hazardous materials such as asbestos and lead-based paint in accordance with federal and state regulations. 3. Backfilling of voids created by demolition activities, grading the site to blend with surrounding terrain, seeding disturbed areas, and conducting final site cleanup. 4. Management of dust, noise, and environmental impacts during demolition operations while ensuring public safety through appropriate signage and security measures at the worksite. 5. Compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and safety standards throughout the project. Period of Performance The contract will be performed from July 15, 2026 to October 30, 2026. Place of Performance The work will be conducted at the Gloria Ford Estate located on the Emmett Ranger District within the Boise National Forest in Boise County, Idaho.
