Mobile Security Services

Background

The Idaho State Historical Society (ISHS) is Idaho’s primary historical agency, established in 1881. ISHS is responsible for preserving, interpreting, and sharing Idaho’s history through its museums, historic sites, archives, and collections. The agency operates under the State of Idaho and is funded through a combination of state appropriations, grants, and partnerships. This Invitation To Bid (ITB) is issued by the State of Idaho’s Division of Purchasing to solicit bids from qualified firms to provide mobile security patrol services at five ISHS-managed properties located within Boise, Idaho.

Work Details

The contractor will provide mobile security patrol services at five properties: - Table Rock (3199 E Table Rock Rd) - Assay Building Block (210 Main St) - Idaho State Museum & Pioneer Village (10 Julia Davis Dr) - Bureau of Reclamation Building (214 Broadway Ave) - Storage Facility (865 & 877 Whitewater Park Blvd). Services include regular patrols to deter vandalism and ensure public safety during off-hours. The contractor must ensure that all personnel meet specific qualifications including passing background checks and holding valid licenses. Patrols must be conducted according to a defined schedule with specific duties outlined for each location.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract will be for one year, with the possibility of renewal for up to five years upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at five locations in Boise, Idaho: Table Rock, Assay Building Block, Idaho State Museum & Pioneer Village, Bureau of Reclamation Building, and a Storage Facility.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have a minimum of two years' experience providing mobile security patrol services. They must hold a valid City of Boise Security Company License or submit a plan to obtain one within thirty days post-award. All personnel must pass criminal background checks and meet age and communication requirements.
