Background

The Idaho Division of Purchasing (DOP) is issuing this Request For Quote (RFQ) on behalf of Idaho Public Television (IDPTV) to solicit quotes from qualified firms for labeling and mailing services for IDPTV’s Idaho Channels Magazine. IDPTV is a statewide, non-commercial broadcast telecommunication system based in Boise, with additional facilities in Moscow and Pocatello. The agency aims to harness public media to encourage lifelong learning and connect communities across Idaho.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for preparing, labeling, and mailing between 18,000 and 20,000 magazines each month, printed on newspaper stock material. The contractor must deliver no more than 500 leftover magazines to IDPTV each month. Specific tasks include: 1. Preparation & Mailing Requirements: Magazines will be delivered from the printer to the contractor's location around the 22nd of each month. A CSV file with addressee information will be provided by IDPTV approximately two days prior to delivery. 2. Labeling: The contractor must add name, address, and member number information on the magazines using inkjet or similar electronic processes. 3. Delivery: Magazines must be sorted and delivered to the USPS Bulk Postage Facility in Boise within two days of receipt at the contractor's location. All postage charges are excluded from this RFQ and will be paid directly by IDPTV using their USPS bulk permit account.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract will be for one year, with an option for renewal up to a total of five years upon mutual agreement.

Place of Performance
