Background The City of Georgetown is seeking proposals for a Utility Ticket Management System to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and accountability in utility locate operations. The system aims to automate ticket assignment, provide real-time tracking, and ensure regulatory compliance. This initiative aligns with the City’s mission to improve service delivery in utility management. Work Details The Contractor will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a fully functional Utility Ticket Management System that meets specified requirements. Key responsibilities include: 1) Providing ongoing maintenance and technical support; 2) Delivering training sessions for supervisors and locators; 3) Creating comprehensive user manuals; 4) Integrating the system with existing software tools. The system must include features such as automated ticket intake from state 811 systems, real-time notifications, work order management, geospatial mapping capabilities, multi-utility support, data reporting and analytics tools, and an emergency notification system. The Contractor must also ensure compatibility with existing GIS platforms and provide secure user access with role-based permissions. Period of Performance The services are expected to commence in June 2026 with an initial term of one year. The contract may be renewed for up to four additional one-year terms by mutual agreement. Place of Performance The contract will be performed within the City of Georgetown, Texas. Bidder Requirements Respondents must maintain proper licensing and comply with all federal, state, and local laws. They are required to certify that they are not engaged in business with Iran or foreign terrorist organizations. Additionally, they must provide certifications regarding boycotting Israel and energy companies as per Texas Government Code provisions.
