Background The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking a qualified contractor to provide 7 electrically powered half-ton Chevy Silverado EV WT max range pickup trucks or approved equal. This procurement aims to enhance ODOT's fleet for highway maintenance operations across various elevations and weather conditions, utilizing Federal Highway Administration Grant funding. Work Details The contractor will supply 7 new, unused, standard production model Chevy Silverado EV WT max range pickup trucks or equivalent. The vehicles must include: - Dual electric motors (one front and one rear) capable of regenerative braking. - A ~170kWh liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery with an 800-volt architecture. - SAE J1772 CCS charge port for Level 2 charging at 19.2 kW or higher and DC Fast Charging at 180 kW or higher. - Standard options including air conditioning, tilt wheel, cruise control, power windows, AM/FM radio, black vinyl floor mat, integrated trailer brake controller, and integrated chassis OEM rearview camera. - Matching spare wheel and mounted tire. All vehicles must comply with applicable OSHA, MSHA, EPA regulations and ODOT workmanship standards. The contractor is responsible for all components necessary for proper assembly and operation of the units. Period of Performance The delivery of the vehicles must be completed within 180 calendar days following the notice to proceed from ODOT. Early delivery is encouraged. Place of Performance Delivery location is ODOT Fleet Operations at 455 Airport Road SE, Building L, Salem, OR 97301. Bidder Requirements Bidders must have a minimum of 3 years of experience providing similar goods and services. They are required to submit references for contracts of similar scope completed in the last three years. Additionally, bidders must comply with insurance requirements as specified in the Sample Agreement.
